Spring Forward Into New Goals!
Visualize where you are going. Before reflecting on your goals or adding anything new, take a moment to visualize where you are going. What are you working towards, and what do you want to achieve? Remove the distractions and opinions of what others think you should be working towards, and listen to that voice within. What is important to you? Once you know where you are going, you'll be ready to take your next step.
Spring Forward in Action: Unplug from all forms of technology, including your watch or timer, and spend time outdoors, allowing yourself to clear your mind and visualize where you see yourself one year from now. What about five years from now? For extra clarity, journal and reflect on where you want to go.Review, reflect, and pivot. Reviewing and reflecting upon your goals and being prepared to pivot is essential in every goal-setting process. Do the goals you set at the beginning of the year still align with where you are today and what you want to achieve? If your plans no longer align with where you want to go, it's okay to pivot.
Spring Forward in Action: Release the goals that no longer serve you. Don't be afraid to clear out the mental clutter of internal or external expectations that might hold you back. Do you need to change course? How can you give yourself more space for what matters to you?Streamline and simplify. Once you've gotten clear on where you are going and released what is no longer serving you, it's time to streamline and simplify how you'll reach those goals. Dreaming about and visualizing the goals you want to achieve sets the foundation for where you are going. However, the key to success is in your daily activities. What are you going to do to reach your goals?
Spring Forward in Action: Break down those goals into actionable steps, and remember, the key is setting action steps that are realistic and attainable. What work are you going to do to reach your goals? Remember, action leads to momentum, and momentum leads to change. If it feels overwhelming, ask yourself, "What is ONE thing I can do today that will bring me closer to what I want to achieve tomorrow?"
